Laal Ishq (Translation: Red Love) is an Indian Hindi romantic/horror television series that airs on &TV. The series premiered on 23 June 2018 under the production of Jaasvand Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. Aathma Bandhana

 

Aathma Bandhana is a 1992 Indian Kannada horror drama film directed by Srikanth Nahata ^[1] and produced by M. Rajagopal. The film features Shashikumar, Jayapradha and Vaishnavi in the lead roles.^[2]

The film is a revenge drama of a woman, played by Vaishnavi, who is killed by her in-laws mercilessly and her spirit entering into a doll. The doll takes up the revenge against each of them who was involved in her murder. The film was a remake of Tamil film Vaa Arugil Vaa (1991) which itself was loosely inspired from 1988 American film Child's Play. The film's music was composed by Rajan-Nagendra and cinematography is by D. V. Ramana.

The story takes place at a time when child marriage was okay and women education was considered as a sin. The story opens with Bondita Das, an eight-year-old girl living with her widowed mother in a small village. Bondita does not understand why her mother has to suffer for just being a widow, basically, she questions the way of life. Bondita's uncle arranges a marriage for Bondita which her mother is very reluctant to agree. Next, in London, Anirudh Roy Choudhary is at a convocation party and in the conversation with his friend we find out he is a gold-medalist barrister. He also says that he is in love with Saudamini "Mini" Bhaumik and he plans to bring her to England , London. He helps a woman from the man sexually assaulting her for a dance, the man questions about India's security for women (which India didn't have at that time) and that troubles Anirudh.

The show takes place in the fictional "Modern Colony" located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India and revolves around two neighbouring couples. The husbands, Vibhuti Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari are bored with their marriages and are smitten by each other's wives, unbeknownst to each other. Manmohan Tiwari is a successful undergarment businessman, whose wife Angoori Tiwari is a simple and naive housewife. Their neighbour, Vibhuti Ahuti Narayan Mishra, was once an unsuccessful insurance agent and is now unemployed. Often called "Nalla" (slang for being unemployed), he spends most of his time doing household chores. On the other hand, his wife Anita Mishra is a headstrong, smart, modern lady who runs grooming classes. She is the breadwinner of the family and despises her husband's unemployment and laziness.

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! (transl. Is bhabiji at home?) is an Indian Hindi-language sitcom that premiered on 2 March 2015 on &TV.^[6] The show is streaming on Zee5 even before TV telecast. The series is produced by Binaifer Kohli under the banner of Edit II Productions. Bhabiji literally means "brother's wife". The -ji suffix is a term of respect used by the brothers-in-law or outsiders for any married woman.^[1][7]

This comedy show revolves around two neighbouring couples, the Mishras and the Tiwaris, in which the husbands are attracted to each other's wives and attempt various ultimately unsuccessful and hilarious techniques to impress them.^[8]

Since its inception, the show has garnered positive reviews and acclaim from the critics and viewers alike. Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! is inspired by the 1994 Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati.
